So, everything in () are my directions, picture it like a film director telling the camera where to focus.
The stage was dark; the footsteps of stage technicians echoed overhead-(this would focus on the the catwalk above the stage, where only shoes would be visible in the dark. The perspective would be looking through the gates. Like the pov should be as if you were on the stage looking up.)
Curtains still drawn in preparation-(this would be a wideshot, edges of the panel dark, with a highlight of red curtains.)
single spotlight turned on to highlight the center stage-(this would be a close up on the spotlight, split into two tiny panels, one focused on it, thsn one in the same position but the spotlight turned on.)
its light reflecting off a polished brass cage.(This would be the focus if the panel. The woman wouldn't be in focus yet.)
Inside the cage sat a young woman with green eyes and violet hair-(closeup shot on her face, and for general use she's wearing a suit with coattails. With a black tie.)
Her hands were cuffed behind her back.(half panel focusing on just the cuffs on her hand.)
A leash trailed to a figure masked by the dark; only the white-gloved hand gripping the end was visible. (A trailing shot that ends at the glove, the cage not in view. This would be a perspective shot as in you were in the cage.)
