Caveboys

Bram catches Tor and Ubu holding hands and finally admits his own feelings to Ubu alone — only to be gently turned down. He runs for the river to be alone, and isn't alone for long: a stranger named Dol surfaces beside him.

Bram and Dol, now unlikely hunting partners, take down a bear together — and afterward, washing off in the river, Dol draws the whole truth about Ubu out of Bram. The chapter ends with a hard cut to Kessa alone in a shame hut, working a mysterious ritual.
