David "Snake" Kang - Snake is a soldier, and former lieutenant of the Riva gang. He is a pretty heavy brawler. Pessimistic but very loyal, he is an ally who won't disappoint. David wears light wash black jeans, a black leather wristband on his right arm, no shirt under the Riva gang's vest, and black and white Converse shoes. He has black curly afro hair and is more heavy set than some other Riva gang members, with Silas "Buddy" Wonderkid describing him as chubby. During the flashback where he's still with the Boppers in Roots, he wears a black and white baseball t-shirt, a purple vest, tan colored khakis, and red and white Converse shoes. David is very pessimistic. He also shows a somewhat joking side. He is also very impulsive, the clearest example in the movie is shown when they're waiting for the train to arrive he goes off with the girls instead of waiting for the other Rivas. David is much more laid-back and optimistic as well; as shown when he tries to calm down Shaunte "Shaunee" Long when the subway train breaks down in Blackout. He has a wise-cracking, jokey attitude. He and John have a close friendship; David is absolutely loyal to John, usually following the latter's orders without question nor hesitation.
