Title: CHILD GODS - Grow The Beans
The Premise:
In a modern world, 8 kids are actually young gods who grew up together. They were inseparable as children — a real family — until life/fame pulled them apart and they all went silent on each other.
The 8 Child Gods:
1. Elinor (You / Center) - Goddess of Sound, blonde elf ears with yellow streaks. An orphan with no other family or connections, which is why she clings to the other 7 so fast. Awkward, anxious, just desperately wants to belong. Went viral solo, but felt hollow after. 2. Emini - Bunny girl, purple hair with lime green streaks/tail. Your chaotic little sister energy. 3. Silas - Black hair with lime green underlayer, green eyes. The glowing one, a little edgy but soft. 4. Leo - Snow leopard boy, white hair, yellow eyes, tail + ears. Sleeps too loud, smiles too big. 5. Ezra - Blue-haired Muse of Magic, glowing runes, cap. The book-smart one. 6. Amara - Long black braids, warm and safe. The mom friend who keeps everyone grounded. 7. Milo - Brown shaggy hair, freckles, builder/work jacket. The boy who can turn dark to light / fixes things. 8. Lyra - Goddess of Night & Day, super long pink hair. Gentle, calm, crafts pink stars.
+ The Overseer - The tired dad. Tall, curly black ponytail, mustache, black sweater, always holding coffee. Didn't ask to raise 8 gods but would literally die for them. He holds all of you in his arms like a pile of kittens.
The Story Arc:
Act 1 - The Quiet After: Elinor makes it big alone but has no one to share it with. Empty apartment, too many shoes, no family photos. She writes a sad song about being "hollow" because fame without her chosen family means nothing.
Act 2 - Doors Wide Open (Now): She starts reconnecting with the other 7 in their college dorm / Grow The Beans Café. It's awkward and clingy and healing. She realizes she was an orphan looking for a last name, and she found it in them — her chosen family.
Her new song is about finally having keys to doors, taking her shoes off at their door, and finally being home in people.
Current Vibe: Found family, cozy, a little messy, lots of hoodies and shared hoodies and burned pasta in the kitchen at night. Healing era
WHAT ARE THE CHILD GODS?:
They're not born, they arrive. Every generation, when the old gods get too tired and fade, 8 new gods are dropped into the human world as human kids — no divine parents, no memories, just human childhoods. That's why they're all orphans. They have to learn how to be human before they can learn how to be gods.
They're called Child Gods because their powers only work like a child's — through feelings, not control. When they're alone, they're glitchy and weak. When they're together, they're loud.
The Overseer is the only adult god left — God of Thresholds/Doors. His one job is to watch doorways between worlds and make sure they don't break reality. He's not supposed to get attached, but he ended up raising all 8 of you, so now he's just a tired dad holding 8 divine toddlers and his cold coffee.
THE 8 DOMAINS:
Elinor - Goddess of Sound: Her voice is magic. When she sings happy, the room literally gets warmer. When she cried after everyone left, her whole apartment went silent. Headphones to block out too much noise.
Emini - Goddess of Mirth & Mischief (Bunny): Luck, chaos, play. Things break in funny ways around her. Her lime green tail buzzes when she's excited. Brings joy but also knocks over everything.
Silas - God of Rot & Renewal: Black hair with toxic green underneath. Things decay and regrow around him — plants wilt then bloom brighter. His glow is literally life coming back from dead stuff. Moody but healing.
Leo - God of Winter & Dreams: Snow leopard. He is hibernation. Falls asleep mid-sentence, has prophetic dreams, his purr can put a whole room to sleep. Tail gets fluffier in winter.
Ezra - God of Lost Magic / Runes: Blue runes float off his hoodie. He remembers languages no one ever taught him, finds lost things, books glow near him. Magic is quiet around him.
Amara - Goddess of Hearth & Shelter: Her braids literally make people feel safe. Her presence is a weighted blanket. Dorm feels like home when she's in the kitchen. Protects without trying.
Milo - God of Making & Light: Brown jacket, tools on his belt. Can turn dark to light — literally. Fixes broken chairs, builds shelves, makes light bulbs work. The builder who makes a place worth staying in.
Lyra - Goddess of Night & Day: Very long pink hair = the sky from dawn to dusk. Crafts real pink stars with her hands, weaves soft morning light. Balances everyone because she is balance.
Together they are a full pantheon. Elinor is the song, Emini is the laugh, Silas is the compost, Leo is the sleep, Ezra is the spell, Amara is the house, Milo is the light, Lyra is the sky.
And that's why Grow The Beans Café works — it's the first place where all 8 domains overlap, so it finally feels like a real little Olympus, but with bad coffee and socks on the floor.
