On a storm-lashed night, seven-year-old Sanam runs through the rain with her mother, chased by a mysterious presence lurking in the darkness. Desperate to protect her daughter, her mother leads her to an abandoned mill and gives her a necklace she has kept hidden beneath her blouse.
