I Feel Fine — A Journey Through the Iron Economy Manga y Cómics IA
A cinematic science manga. Sam Okafor gives blood on a Tuesday morning, the way she has for three years. She is completely healthy and she feels fine. Beneath her skin, the camera descends into a working city: red cells running the vessel highways, iron carried in secure transport, the bone marrow's vast manufacturing floor, and a hidden reserve of stored iron nobody can see from the outside. When the blood bag leaves the room, the body answers — production rises, the storage doors open, the reserve is drawn down. Sam smiles and says she's fine, and she is telling the truth. The reader is the only one who can see the iron economy rebalancing. Then the camera pulls back from one donor to thousands, and the question stops being about Sam.
