The Characters

Diane Okoye: A meticulous, middle-aged government archivist. She is patient, precise, and tracked Roman down by cross-referencing decades-old, ignored paperwork.
Kesha: A hardened, angry survivor from the off-world city Roman destroyed. She has spent 19 years living in a patched, ugly space-hauler searching for answers and eventually confronts him on Earth.
